This education resource was developed for the Holbein to Hockney short term exhibition held at Te Papa from 25 April to 24 July 2005.
This comprehensive resource enables teachers and students to enrich their experience of a marvellous exhibition. It features eighteen artists and their works, as well as an overview of drawing styles, techniques, and materials.
Holbein to Hockney includes every type of drawing practised in European art over the last 500 years. It also offers a special insight into the artist's creative process, both through the works themselves and by connections made through the exhibition's themes.
