Come and unlock some of the magic of wearable art at Te Papa this winter!
Primary students' day
At this wearable art day for primary students, when they design their own creations, inspired by our collections. Students get the chance to show off their garments in a catwalk in Te Marae at Te Papa, and are welcome to bring along previously-made creations to showcase.
The day begins with an inspiring talk from a WOW® designer, then the students spend time sketching in the galleries with our Educators, and visit our new WearableArt exhibition, The WOW Factor. Then they have the opportunity to turn their ideas into reality in the classroom. The runway show will finish off the day.
