Two figures of Anubis, god of mummification, crouch on a temple gateway. They are flanked by the winged goddesses Isis and Nephthys, clasping ostrich feathers.

 

On the coffin’s base, an Apis bull transports the mummy through papyrus thickets to its final resting place.
