The Canterbury Disaster Salvage Team presents: Earthquake Preparedness for heritage and cultural institutions.

A touring workshop that will look at various restoration and conservation projects that are taking place around Christchurch.

This workshop is presented by the Canterbury Disaster Salvage Team with support from National Services Te Paerangi.

8.45 am Meet for Registration by coach. CPIT Madras Street.

9 am Introductions on coach

9.00 -10.0 Drive by tour and venues including Provincial Chambers, Cardboard Cathedral, Armagh Street, Theatre Royal

10 - 11.00 Drive and tour of reconstruction and repair of Riccarton House

11.00 - 11.30 Coffee at Taste Marquee by Riccarton House 

11.30 - 12.0 Travel to RNZAFMuseum

12.00 - 1.00 Tour of The Recovery Centre at Wigram

1.00 - 2.00 Lunch at Wigram

2.00 - 2.30 Travel to Pages Road Talk on Bus - CERA

1.30 - 2.30 Pages Road CCC Storage Centre _ Maria Adamski CCC

2.30 - 3.00 Talk on Bus - Seismic restraints

3.00 - 4.00 Arts Centre (TBC)

4.00 - 4.30 Afternoon Tea
