Victoria, Acting Manager National Services Te Paerangi, has worked in the museum sector for over 15 years. She has extensive experience and networks particularly within museum education.
Victoria comes from a position with Wellington company Lift Education | E tū where she worked as Education Manager. In this role she worked with organisations to develop educational resources and to provide educational research and evaluation. She also recently held a position as Team Leader for education at Te Papa and was instrumental in the development and evaluation of numerous online learning resources.
Victoria's work involves the national implementation of the New Zealand Museums Standards Scheme Ngā Kaupapa Whaimana a Ngä Whare Taonga o Aotearoa, the development and implementation of strategies and programmes to enhance museological skills throughout the sector, and continually monitoring and assessing existing training and skill development projects and programmes.
Victoria is passionate about museums and building professional relationships to strengthen the sector.
