Individuals and small groups – daily tours

We offer a daily 60-minute tour – Introducing Te Papa.  

This tour is ideal if you have limited time or want an overview before a longer visit. It:

  • is for individuals and small groups
  • is given in English
  • requires no booking – simply buy your ticket on the day at the Information Desk, Level 1.

If you would like a tour in a language other than English, please book a private group tour.

Groups of seven or more – private group tours

Book a private group tour tailored to your interests or special needs.

Private group tours have a minimum cost, equivalent to the cost for seven adults. If you are an individual or smaller group, we suggest taking a daily tour (no booking required).

We can deliver private group tours in English, Māori, French, German, Spanish, and Mandarin.
