This year, Te Papa has set up the Matariki Education Fund. The fund provides Te Papa with the ability to offer an educational experience to children that would otherwise miss out on such an opportunity.
We’re excited as this initiative will give something real and valuable back to the community Matariki seeks to celebrate. To further support the Education Fund, the Te Papa Store and Te Papa Kids’ Store will donate 5% of every Matariki purchase to this initiative.
Please note that all funding for this year has been allocated, please contact us if you wish your school to be added to the waiting list for 2013. Applications are open to Primary and Secondary Schools.
