Explore the creative process behind a selection of award-winning short films, and gain insights into film-making and animation from film-maker and 3-D lecturer James Cunningham.

To explain how Media Design School students have created particular visual effects, Cunningham breaks down shots from various films – including the sci-fi short Dr Grordbort Presents: The Deadliest Game, zombie romance Rotting Hill, and robot comedy Shelved.

The presentation also features screenings of other short films, including Poppy (Jury Prize, Siggraph) and Infection (in competition at Sundance and Cannes).
