Join Catherine McKay for the final lunchtime concert on Michael Parekowhai’s carved grand piano, He kōrero pūrākau mo te awanui o te motu: story of a New Zealand river.

Catherine was one of the pianists who performed at the Venice Biennale 2011, where the piano appeared as the central work in Parekowhai’s installation On first looking into Chapman’s Homer.

This spectacular art work now features in Ngā Toi | Arts Te Papa, Te Papa’s new, changing programme of art on Level 5.
