Te Papa celebrates the new season of Ngā Toi | Arts Te Papa with a day of talks centred on our new exhibition Bone Stone Shell: 25 years on.

Bone Stone Shell was a 1988 exhibition of New Zealand jewellery that represented a new way of thinking about materials and place. It is the foundation of Te Papa’s contemporary jewellery collection.

Join us for talks from some of the original exhibiting artists, as well as contemporary jewellers who have been influenced by this landmark exhibition.
