Watch as tape-art murals inspired by Mexico’s Día de los Muertos festivities emerge on the walls around Te Papa’s entrance.

The sticky tape will first hit the external wall at Te Papa’s entrance and lead visitors into the museum. Talk with the artists and you might become part of the artwork – your image that is. We’ll try not to tape you to the wall!

Mexico’s Día de los Muertos is a festival in which people remember deceased friends and family. Small sugar skulls are made and eaten, and children often dress up as skeletons.
