The Miti family took another swag of awards at the 2012 Gold Guitars in Gore.
The Cannons Creek trio of Sonny, Justina, and Tiana Miti beat out dozens of acts to win the senior instrumental and vocal sections, and the busking competition. Tiana also came first in the intermediate country-rock division.
They have been singing together for 7 years and belong to the North City Country Music Club in Porirua. They are often busy playing and singing for corporate functions.
Sonny says they enjoyed the family trip driving down to Gore and were happy with their achievements – but, while they may continue to perform locally, their studies and jobs are now taking priority. Catch them before they get too busy!
