Journalist Todd Niall, an authority on the Trekka, talks about the only vehicle ever designed and mass-produced in New Zealand. He also discusses working with Michael Stevenson on Stevenson’s entry to the 2003 Venice Biennale, This is the Trekka. This work ison display at Te Papa until 20 July.
Curator of Contemporary Art Sarah Farrar introduces the talk. A question-and-answer session afterwards provides an opportunity for people to share their Trekka stories.
