Walk with Me: McCahon Series

Colin McCahon is one of New Zealand’s most celebrated artists. His sweeping multi-canvas work Walk (Series C) is, in part, an imagined walk along Muriwai beach with the poet James K Baxter.

From October 2013 to July 2014, the Art & Change gallery in Ngā Toi | Arts Te Papa, Level 5, features responses to Walk (Series C) by contemporary writers and musicians.

Sun 23 Feb: Riki Gooch – event information
Sat 15 Mar: Poetry reading – event information

Note: The Art & Change, Contemporary, and Collection Focus galleries on Level 5 are closed for maintenance from 17 March 2014 for 5–6 weeks. All other Ngā Toi | Arts Te Papa galleries are open as usual.
