Carl Shuker discusses his latest novel Anti Lebanon with chair Damien Wilkins in the first Writers on Mondays event for 2013.

Reviews of Shuker’s work

Anti Lebanon is described as ‘a haunting and riveting account of war, loss, and exile’ by Publishers Weekly in the United States. His first novel, The Method Actors, won him the 2006 Prize in Modern Letters and was described as ‘brash and fearless’ by the New York Times.

Shuker is this year’s Creative New Zealand/Victoria University Writing Fellow.
