This video demonstrates how tapa is made in in New Zealand with imported raw materials. It shows the processes of beating, patching, layering, and designing.
The demonstration took place in Auckland in April 2009. The Otaota Fahina Society was led by Reverend Sitili Tupouniua and his wife, Lolohea.
