Warhol: Immortal secondary student forum
Discover more about Andy Warhol and his influences and explore the Warhol: Immortal exhibition at Te Papa.
This forum day is for students studying Art History and Visual Art who are interested in examining the relationship between art and context.
The day includes Dr Marcus Moore talking about Marcel Duchamp and the readymade legacy on Andy Warhol, contemporary N.Z. Maori artist Kelcy Taratoa talking about his recently commissioned work influenced by Warhol, and watch ‘The Factory People’, a documentary telling the story of Andy Warhol and his friends, superstars, enemies and hangers-on who were with him in his Silver Factory 1964-1968.
Students also will experience the Warhol: Immortal exhibition.
