The interior floor of the coffin may show the winged sky goddess Nut. However, certain factors suggest that the image may depict Mehit herself: These include:
the lack of features that typically distinguish Nut (for example, wings)
the perfume cone and lotus bud on the head of the figure. (These were commonly worn by Egyptian women of Mehit’s time.)
On the other hand, it is possible that iconography was changing at the time of Keku’s death, allowing Nut to be depicted with more mundane attributes than before.
