The first World Championship Formula One Grand Prix was held at Silverstone, England, in 1950. A world championship for constructors began in 1958.
Formula One cars are constantly pushing the boundaries of design and technological innovation. Below is the line-up of the Formula One cars you will see in this exhibition – ranging from a 1958 front-engined model to a modern 2006 model.
