Expatriate
artist Max Gimblett talks about his work on display at
the Guggenheim Museum, New York, in the exhibition
The Third Mind: American Artists Contemplate Asia
1860–1989. He will also discuss sumi ink painting
and his current work relating to Pacific Rim
culture.
Art
historian Sandra Pollard presents an illustrated lecture
about the Camden Town Group – Edwardian painters who
depicted an alternative view of society using a lively
and often colourful style. Presented in association
with Wellington DFAS.
