There are two different membership categories, tailored to different needs: those who live in the Wellington Region, and those who live outside the Wellington Region and visit Te Papa less often. The Wellington Region is defined by those who have the telephone prefix (04).
No matter what the category, all members enjoy our regular benefits.

  2. Membership subscriptions start on 1 April and expire on 31 March of the following year.
    Pro rata rates apply from July and October.
