Explore the fascinating world of science, innovation, and discovery at this immersive event that will  ignite curiosity and inspire wonder among science enthusiasts of all ages.

From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, guests will have the opportunity to engage with a wide array of hands-on activities, captivating shows, and interactive demonstrations led by experts in their fields.

With exciting workshops by Mr Science and Nanogirl, robotics programming and play by Bricks 4 Kidz, hands on model building with the Wellington Meccano Club, and awe-some demonstrations by Victoria University of Wellington and the NZ Astrobiology Network, there's something for the whole family to enjoy.

Event Breakdown

  • Mr Sciences Shows:

    • Free Shows: 10.30am–11.15am and 1.30pm–2.15pm

    • Paid Workshops: 11.45am–12.30pm and 2.45pm–3:30pm ($15 per child – Sold out)

  • Nanogirls Shows:

    • Two 30-minute paid shows in Soundings Theatre: 1:30 PM & 2:45 PM (Find out more)

  • Stalls & Activities:

    • Bricks 4 Kidz: Free LEGO robotics programming and play area

    • Wellington Meccano Club: Hands-on Meccano model building

    • Victoria University of Wellington: SEM microscope demonstrations

    • Ioana Haritina Mogoșanu & Samuel Leske (NZAN): Radio-controlled model of the Perseverance Rover.
