Enjoy art, lectures, fashion, and music at Te Papa’s monthly arts evening.

5.30pm–6.15pm: Floortalk. Join curator Charlotte Huddleston and exhibiting artists Judy Darragh and Vivian Lynn as they discuss their work in the exhibition, We are unsuitable for framing. Meet at the We are unsuitable for framing exhibition, Level 4. Free entry.

7.15pm–8pm: FREAK fashion show. Corporate suits, pants, and waistcoats are reformed and restructured to create living art. Freak’s amazing models and designs will shock and stimulate your senses. Level 4 Espresso. Free entry.

The FREAK fashion show is the brainchild of Wellington-based designers Jenny Woodward, Charmagne Anthony, and Mr FREAK!. Designed to run alongside We are unsuitable for framing, this pioneering show will be as provocative as the exhibition itself.

The event will be hosted by Rodga Johnson and internationally acclaimed burlesque performer Eva Strangelove. The XFACTA male revue will provide an industrial backdrop to this tour through underground fashion.
