Five leading Māori ceramic artists, and dramatic time-lapse photography of New Zealand’s most remote areas, feature in this tour of Pataka Art + Museum in Porirua.

The event is free for everyone, through support from the Friends of Te Papa, but bookings are essential.

At 10am, the bus departs from Te Papa, Cable Street, Wellington, for Pataka Art + Museum in Porirua. The exhibitions include the following.

Uku Rere: Nga Kaihanga Uku and Beyond
Explore the work of five leading Māori ceramic artists: Baye Riddell, Manos Nathan, Colleen Urlich, Wi Taepa, and Paerau Corneal.

Dark Cloud: White Light
Photographer Joseph Michael has used time-lapse photography to capture a dramatic day in 12 epic New Zealand landscapes. Journey into some of New Zealand’s most remote areas.

There is free time to view other exhibitions and have lunch.

At 1.30pm, the bus departs for Te Papa, arriving at 2pm.
