gain an understanding of when, where, and how pōwhiri can be applied
explore the meaning of pōwhiripōwhiri welcoming ceremonies by experiencing the nine major steps on Te Papa’s wharenuiwharenui meeting houses
discover taongataonga treasures around the museum which illuminate the origins of pōwhiripōwhiri welcoming ceremonies.
