Tūhuratia a Matariki is a guided Matariki education visit with a Stardome planetarium experience. Tamariki will learn about stars and the night sky, including Matariki and other constellations/clusters of significance in Te Ao Māori and globally.

Join the Te Papa Learning team to celebrate and commemorate Matariki 2023. Enter the Stardome and learn about the stories, tradition, and knowledge in the stars. Students will learn key vocabulary and the importance of stars in cultures around the world, highlighting Matariki. They will also learn to identify Matariki in the early morning sky.
