I’ve been a part of the Te Papa whanau since 2010 and lead the Loans and Acquisitions team.

I’m passionate about sharing the collection and finding ways to connect Te Papa’s taonga to new audiences across Aotearoa New Zealand and around the world.

I love engaging with stakeholders exploring opportunities for how Te Papa might offer more short- and long-term loans as well as identifying potential barriers you may have encountered when borrowing collections from us.

My aim is to continuously provide excellent customer service and for Te Papa to become the go-to Museum for borrowing collections.

I’ve worked in the GLAM sector for the last 9 years in a variety of roles and institutions. I’m very passionate about providing access to collections and my role in the loans and acquisitions team means I get to work closely with Te Papa staff and other institutions around New Zealand and the world to share the taonga that Te Papa holds.

Our team also facilitates Te Papa’s acquisition process, working with curators and collections staff to bring taonga into the museum’s collections. It’s a real privilege to collect New Zealand’s taonga and then be able to lend them to other institutions, meaning more people are able to engage with them.

I love staying connected to the GLAM sector, and working with the loans team lets me collaborate and share our taonga with other institutions around the country and beyond.

Having worked in institutions both small and large, I understand that no two museums or galleries are the same, and enjoy the opportunity to find solutions and facilitate the best outcomes for our colleagues throughout Aotearoa.

While I studied History, I love working in any area, most recently working with Te Papa's Art team on their new galleries, and I have a particular interest in commissioning and collections law.
