Gathering and sharing treasures is at the core of Te Papa’s wonderful work. Millions of New Zealanders and international visitors come through Te Papa’s doors or visit online. Those visitors find exhibitions and stories that enlighten and educate about New Zealand’s history, natural environment, its people and their achievements.

To remain at the forefront of international museums and art galleries, Te Papa requires greater financial support than that provided by central government.

Gifting – From the heart

The Te Papa Foundation is for all New Zealanders and international visitors who understand and respect Te Papa’s visions.

Foundation Supporters help Te Papa to continue challenging and stimulating the curiosity of generations of visitors through strong collections, exhibitions, research, and learning programmes.

We value all gifts.
