Our vehicle entrance will be reduced to one lane from 25 July until the end of November 2022, due to the construction of a new set of traffic lights outside Te Papa.

Important information to know before visiting us:

  • masks are mandatory while inside the building unless you are dining at one of our cafes.
  • hand sanitisers are located through the museum.


Due to the unpredictable nature of Covid-19, we are unable to guarantee being open on the day of your planned visit due to potential staff shortages. This also means that we might have to make a last-minute decision on whether we are open or not.
