Booking and queries
If you have any problems or queries with your booking, please contact the team at firstname.lastname@example.org or on 04 381 7272 (lines open Monday-Friday 9am–5pm).
Individual tickets for your Join-the-Party Christmas Experience will be issued 10 working days prior to your event and will be couriered to you to your nominated address.
A 50% deposit payment must be made to confirm your booking. Final payments must be received 21 days prior to your event.
Friends of Te Papa cannot use their membership card to get a discount for their family and friends.
A minimum of 10 people is required for each Join-The-Party booking. Bookings are essential and subject to availability. Minors need to be accompanied by an adult.
If you cannot attend your event, you can transfer your ticket to another individual. Tickets can be transferred at any time up to and including the day of the event.
If Te Papa Venues have to cancel the event, our liability in the event of cancellation is limited to a full refund of the event fee only. We will not refund any travel or hotel costs associated with the cancellation of an event.
All cancellations must be made in writing and sent to email@example.com
- 21 days or more before the event – 20% discretionary administration fee applicable
- Less than 21 days before the event – No refund (transfer to another individual only)
Te Papa accepts no liability if an event is cancelled or postponed for reasons beyond our reasonable control resulting from an act of God, governmental regulation, fire, war, terrorist activity or civil commotion.
We will treat your personal information in accordance with data protection legislation. We will use your information for administration, communication, and research only. We will not share your information with any of our business partners.
It may be necessary for reasons beyond our control to change the content and timing of the programme, the date or the venue at any time prior to the event date.
R18 for the service of alcohol. Host Responsibility limits apply. A cash bar will be available for the duration of the event for other beverage choices and when the three-hour beverage package concludes.
Te Papa Venues accepts no liability if a guest is unable to attend an event due to adverse weather conditions or any travel disruption.
Filming and sound recording
Te Papa Venues reserves the right to film, record or photograph at an event for post event purposes and future marketing. Guests are advised that this may result in incidental inclusion of guests within any recording or photographs.
