Te Papa welcomes the 6th edition of the Emergency Services Expo: a high-action, interactive, fun-packed festival, showcasing the capabilities of our national emergency first responders.
Bring your whānau along to assist with a demonstration of the aerial rescue unit or a car extrication. Among the many organizations taking part in the show, you will have the opportunity to interact with Police, Fire and Emergency, Land Search and Rescue, Wellington Free Ambulance, NZDF etc.
Lots of activities for all ages – indoor and outdoor, including virtual reality and a show by Deano Yipadee, the author of the kids' book series Nee-naw the Fire Engine.
The show will go ahead with the indoor activities, irrespective of weather conditions.
