Corrupt police inspector Santos Trinidad shoots three people in a bar fight while drunk on his way home. A witness manages to escape and could incriminate him. Trinidad begins a search to eliminate the man.

Inspector Chacon is put in charge of the murder investigation, which she thinks is connected to drug trafficking. But both Trinidad and Chacon will discover that the real threat is far more sinister. Only Santos can prevent a tragedy – and Chacon could stop him first.
