Gala Performance: Multicultural Festival 2023

Join us with your friends and whānau to celebrate the Chinese New Year and Wellington’s vibrant cultural diversity in this annual festival of music and dance.

Enjoy a wide range of performances from members of Wellington’s multicultural communities. With over 12 performing groups from diverse ethnicity, the festival celebrates a large variety of cultures from around the world.

Free entry and family-friendly – all welcome!

Please note that there is limited seating space in Rongomaraeroa, our marae, and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

This event has been organized in partnership with the Multicultural Council of Wellington, China Cultural Centre in Wellington, and supported by Wellington City Council.
