Come explore our Creation Stations – put together an animated movie, zoom around the world using virtual reality, and create astonishing inventions, from artbots to singing pens.

You’ll also spend time looking around Te Papa to get inspired by our collections.

Creation Stations: Activities throughout the day

Astonishing inventions

Make self-driving machines, artbots, singing pens, musical water, and more. Explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics in fun, hands-on ways.

Movie-making

Create a stop-animation movie using Lego.

Interactive collaborative games

Challenge each other to digital air hockey. Find your home on Google Maps. Play piano.

Teleport postcards

Test out live chroma key (green screen) backdrops – take a family picture in crazy destinations!

Virtual reality travel

Experience Google Earth with the Vive virtual-reality system. Fly to any place on the planet.

 

These sessions are open to all skill levels. If you came last term, you’ll find plenty more to discover this time round.

The flexible design of the programme allows you to come to one or both of these sessions.
