RM Holmes presents I Am King/Queen. A gripping autobiographical performance following his search to find herself, exploring their gender, religious upbringing and cultural ties in Australia, Aotearoa – New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
Roymata shows it’s about the journey, not the destination. This coming-of-age extravaganza is a high-energy night of traditional and modern dance, physical theatre, and the quickest Drag transformation you've ever seen!
The show begins with the performer representing a strong male figure, through the show he weaves and threads their personal story from growing up in Far North Queensland Australia to international stardom leaving us on the edge of our seats wanting more as he introduces their Drag person Miss Martoya.
Holmes said he hoped the show can help transform the public conversation about gender and identity to a place of deeper understanding and respect.
