Oro Atu: Taonga pūoro with Jerome Kavanagh 1–2pm
International taonga pūorotaonga pūoro Māori musical instruments artist Jerome Kavanagh weaves together Māori musical instruments and stories that connect to the natural world. Oro Atua means vibration or song of the guardians of nature.
We’re sending our natural history exhibition off in style with a huge adult-only going away party. There’ll be a silent disco, DJ, curator talks, food, drinks, and generally a whole lot of natural fun.
Puppeteer Anna Bailey takes us on two magical string puppet adventures including kiwi, penguins, and sea monsters. Use this opportunity to say goodbye to NatureSpace before it closes for reconstruction.
