NZSO Matariki Whānau Concert

Join the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra for a performance of Storytime for kids and their whānau.

These 30-minute concerts will feature popular kiwi children’s books including Miriama Kamo’s The Stolen Stars of Matariki, and showcase an amazing array of colourful percussion sounds.

This is the second in our 2022 Te Papa Whānau series. The orchestra will be conducted by Brent Stewart and stories narrated and presented by the NZSO Education and Outreach team. Our Storytime series developed during the 2020 lockdown has been delighting audiences around the country. Bring along your own copies of The Stolen Stars of Matariki, Down in the Forest I I Roto i te Ngāhere, and Little Yellow Digger and read along with the NZSO.
