Pacific Aotearoa: Toi Art Family Day

Bring the whole whānau to our new art gallery for a day of free activities – art, stories, music, and dance from Aotearoa and the Pacific.

  • Join artist Filipe Tohi for a drop-in workshop on lalava (lashing). Suitable for ages 7+.

  • Hear stories and songs from around the Pacific with Mafine Mai Moana Storytellers: Moira Wairama, Manea Pasilio, Lepeka Amato Perez, and Terisa Amosa. All ages welcome.

  • Have fun learning Tokelauan dance moves with Selina Alefosio. All ages welcome.

  • Explore the exhibition Pacific Sisters: Fashion Activists.
