Watercolour workshop

Create your own watercolour inspired by the rolling hills of Rita Angus’ landscapes or the piercing eyes of her self-portraits, at this workshop with artist Maisie Chilton.

Suitable for all ages and abilities, this watercolour workshop offers a chance for the whole whānau to give watercolour painting a try!

Pōneke-based artist, poet, and teacher, Maisie Chilton will be on hand to help you get started and guide you through your artistic journey.

Your task is to think about colour and express your artistic ideas through mixing colours and creating your own masterpiece.

Come along to paint with Maisie and get creative with colour!

Materials will be provided.

Booking is required and the workshop will run from 1pm–3pm.

Under the Covid-19 protection framework (aka the traffic light system) all visitors to Te Papa will need to be double vaccinated.
