Explore Bush City with Te Papa’s scientists

11.30–12pm and 12.30–1pm, Amphitheatre Level 1

Join Te Papa’s science team for a family-friendly tour of Bush City. Kids, bring your nature journal along and see if you can identify any animal footprints!

Meet a conservation dog!

12–12.30pm, Red Gates, Level 1

Come along to Red Gates to learn how dogs can help us to protect Aotearoa’s unique nature.

Ask an Expert session

1–2.30pm, Papa Hui I Backyard, Te Taiao Nature, Level 2

Ask experts from Te Papa and the Department of Conservation all your nature-related questions! This session is NZSL interpreted.

Supervision and photographs

Kids must be accompanied by an adult for all activities.

Filming and photography by Te Papa may take place at this event. The material might be shared online or through social media.

Please let the event manager or a Te Papa host know if you or a child you are responsible for does not wish to be photographed or filmed.
