What to expect from the Learning Team at Covid-19 Alert Level 2

If Wellington enters Covid-19 Alert Level 2, we have some processes you’ll need to follow during your education visit to Te Papa.

The below applies to Alert Level 2.

The main health and safety points are in the document below, and should provide answers to any questions you may have. Please ensure you read this prior to your visit with us at Te Papa.

The following registration form must be completed before arriving at Te Papa. This is for contact tracing purposes.

We ask your students to remain inside the bubble of your designated class groups, and teachers to retain responsibility for managing and monitoring this. Please ensure that children keep a two-metre distance from other visitors in the museum at all times.

Our coat and bag check are closed during Alert Level 2. If possible, please leave all bags either in school or on the bus.

Te Papa has a visitor cap under Alert Level 2. This means that there may be a wait to enter the museum. Our front of house team will help to monitor this situation.
