Te Papa is open. Visiting Te Papa under Alert Level 2
Kei te tuwhera a Te Papa. Te toronga mai ki Te Papa i raro i te Pae Mataara 2

What to expect from the Learning Team at Covid-19 alert level 2

Due to the restrictions that we have put in place at level 2, we have some new processes that we ask you to follow during your education visit to Te Papa.

The main health and safety points of this document are below. Please ensure that you read the full document prior to your visit with us at Te Papa, which expands on each point and should provide answers to any questions that you may have.

Please complete the registration form that you will find below, prior to arriving at Te Papa. This is for contact tracing purposes.

We ask your students to remain inside the bubble of your designated class groups, and teachers retain responsibility for managing and monitoring this. Please ensure that the children keep a 2m distance from other visitors in the museum at all times.

Our coat and bag check are closed throughout level 2. If possible, please ensure that you leave all bags either in school, or on the bus.

Te Papa has implemented a visitor cap. This means that there may be a wait to enter the museum. Our front of house team will help to monitor this situation.
