Register for this Zoom hui to gain some insight into why and how a child protection policy is important for your museum.

Under the Children’s Act 2014 any organisation that interacts with children has a responsibility to ensure their safety including recognising and reporting signs of abuse. What does this mean for us in the museum and gallery sector? How can we ensure we are doing our best and adhering to our responsibilities and legislative requirements?

Meet Tara Fagan, Principal Advisor Learning, and Natalie Everson, Senior HR Advisor from Te Papa who will step us through the process they under-took to develop the Child Protection Policy at Te Papa.
