Research project: Making Histories

Exploring emerging and under-represented perspectives on the Covid-19 pandemic.

Project description: This project aims to support visitors and communities around Aotearoa New Zealand to reflect on their experiences of the Covid-19 pandemic and foster longer-term discussions about issues such as work, health and wellbeing, racism, and inequality.

Research undertaken by Te Papa curators as part of this project will focus on ensuring the perspectives of under-represented communities inform the development and interpretation of our emerging Covid-19 collections, as well as related digital and public programme activities.
