The panellists – Judge Carrie Wainwright, Judge Rachel Mullins, and Judge Miharo Armstrong – will reflect on their work and experiences as presiding officers on a number of district, kaupapa, and urgent inquiries.

This panel talk occurs in tandem with He Kura Toi Tangata: 50 Years of the Waitangi Tribunal, 1975-2025, which opens at Wellington Museum on Saturday 24 May, 2025. The exhibition features 50 images and newly displayed taonga, tracing key moments and landmark cases in the Tribunal’s history.
