As feed fatigue takes hold, museums are looking for new and interesting ways to engage their audiences beyond the walls.

Podcasts are uniquely intimate allowing audiences to engage directly on in-depth topics with subject matter experts.

UK-born podcaster Thom Linley from Te Papa will talk about how he got The Deep-Sea Podcast off the ground, his technical set-up and the challenges he’s faced along the way. While presenter Sally McMillan from Dunedin Public Art Gallery Society will talk about their arts podcast Sightlines, their partnership with Otago Access Radio and its evolution since its launch in 2022.
