Te Papa is following the advice of the New Zealand Government’s Covid-19 Protection Framework | Te Pou Tarāwaho Ārai Kowheori.
Te Papa is currently operating at the Orange | Karaka setting.
Orange | Karaka
Te Papa’s guided tours will operate with some restrictions in place.
Visitors and guides must wear a face mask.
Visitors who do not comply with these conditions will not be permitted to join/continue with the tour.
Green | Kākāriki
Te Papa’s guided tours will operate without restrictions.
Visitors and guides are welcome to wear a face mask at their discretion.
Red | Whero
Te Papa’s guided tours will operate with some restrictions in place.
Visitors and guides must wear a face mask for the duration of the tour.
Fewer spaces will be available to allow for physical distancing between groups.
Should we need to cancel your tour due to COVID-19-related complications or government travel restrictions, we will transfer your booking to a future date or refund 100% of the tour. We will not be charging any transfer/cancellation fees.
