Helen Lloyd
Helen Lloyd is the Partnerships Manager at Te Papa and has worked as a Learning Specialist in the art gallery and museum sector since 2001. She has held roles at Te Papa, City Gallery Wellington, and Creative New Zealand, and at the Whitechapel Gallery and Salisbury Art Centre in the UK. She joined the board at Katherine Mansfield House and Garden in 2024.
Author of the New Zealand Art Activity Book, and the Te Papa Activity Book, Helen holds a degree in visual art and art history, an MA in museum and gallery education, and a post-graduate teaching qualification. With over 20 years’ experience of teaching children and adults in museums and galleries, she is a passionate about the learning potential within these spaces.
