Explore the emotional and physical toll of the Gallipoli campaign through the eyes of real people who were there: eight ordinary New Zealanders struggling through extraordinary circumstances.

Guided by our educators, your primary school students will:

  • identify the motivations and reactions of people who were at Gallipoli, including Anzac soldiers, a medical officer, and a nurse
  • hear readings from authentic diary entries, see photos from the front, read letters sent home, and examine personal belongings.
