Annual giving programme

The Annual Giving programme provides ways for donors to make a difference to our national museum while enjoying recognition opportunities, invitations to special events and the chance to meet other like-minded individuals associated with the Te Papa Foundation. This is a diverse cohort of people with interests across art, science, history and culture. Join us today.

Corbel donor

$500 per year

• Acknowledgement on Te Papa Foundation's website

• A tax credit allowing you to claim back up to one-third of your donation

• An invitation to the annual Foundation donor appreciation event

• Invitations to Foundation events throughout the year, both ticketed and complimentary

• Te Papa Foundation newsletters and updates offering insider content

• A Friends of Te Papa membership, with additional benefits including:

• Discounted entry to paid exhibitions at Te Papa

• Access to Friends of Te Papa events including private exhibition viewings, workshops, talks, and tours

$1,000 per year

• Acknowledgement on the digital donor board in the entrance foyer at Te Papa

• A personalised signed copy of a Te Papa Press book

• Free entry to paid exhibitions for you and a guest

Foundation Stone donor

$2,500 per year

Above benefits, plus:

• Acknowledgement on the physical donor board in the entrance foyer at Te Papa

• Invitations to Te Papa Press launch events and the opportunity to meet the authors

Keystone donor

$5,000 per year

Above benefits, plus:

• An annual lunch with one of Te Papa's curators in an interest area of your choice - whether your special interest is antique furniture or modern art, botany, New Zealand history, taonga, or molluscs... the choice is as diverse as Te Papa's collections.

Cornerstone donor

$8,500 per year

Above benefits, plus:

• Access to exclusive Te Papa events, e.g., preview events and exhibition opening celebrations

• Acknowledgement of your support printed in one Te Papa Press book each year

Lodestone donor

$16,500 per year

Above benefits, plus:

• A behind-the-scenes tour for you and two guests, culminating with drinks and canapes in the museum. This opportunity to delve into Te Papa’s collection stores is a true bucket-list experience.
