Te Papa venue: Rongomaraeroa, the marae

Rongomaraeroa is an authentic, contemporary, and inclusive marae for the 21st century, offering stunning views over Wellington Harbour.

Its striking Māori design means the space requires minimal additional theming, making it ideal for conferences, functions, and events.

As a public space, we hire Rongomaraeroa only for breakfast and evening functions. For an iconic venue with a private outdoor terrace and beautiful harbour views, Rongomaraeroa is the perfect choice for your next event.
